Polyester formation: First step: transesterification of terephthalic acid (PTA) or methyl terephthalate (DMT) with ethylene glycol (EG) in the presence of a catalyst to form dihydroxyethyl terephthalate (BHET), commonly used catalysts are zinc, cobalt, manganese acetate. The second step: the produced bishydroxyethyl terephthalate (BHET) is subjected to a polycondensation reaction in a polycondensation vessel of the pre-polycondensation vessel, and the reaction temperature in the pre-polycondensation vessel is 270 ° C, and the reaction temperature in the post-polycondensation vessel is 270 ~ 280 ° C. The polycondensation reaction is carried out under intense stirring by a vacuum machine to obtain a high molecular weight polyester.


Polyester staple fiber production process principle: Melt spinning is a polyester fiber product in which the melt (PET) produced by the polycondensation kettle is cast, granulated, packaged, transported to a spinning mill, unpacked, dried and remelted.


Process: polyester slicing → drying → melting → spinning → bundling → stretching → heat setting (tension) → curling → shaping (relaxation) → cutting → packing
