In 2018, Suzhou City, Xiangcheng District, eliminated 63 printing and dyeing enterprises in the jurisdiction, and exceeded the annual task of 85%. For the remaining five printing and dyeing enterprises, Xiangcheng District will continue to guide and shut down all the way, and realize the elimination and withdrawal of all printing and dyeing enterprises in the region.

It is understood that these printing and dyeing enterprises that have been shut down are generally built earlier, and pollutants such as waste water and waste gas cannot maintain stable discharge standards. The level of pollution prevention cannot keep up with the requirements of the times, and the energy consumption is large and the social benefits are poor.

In April 2018, Xiangcheng District formulated the “Three-Year Action Plan for Environmental Protection and Pollution Control”, which clearly stipulated that 96 printing and dyeing enterprises in the district should be shut down according to law: 28 of them have been eliminated in 2017, and 34 are planned to be eliminated in 2018. Home, plans to eliminate 34 in 2019. Free up the resources and development space for the advantageous industries, steadily promote the transformation and upgrading of the industrial structure of the whole region, and guide the green and efficient development of enterprises.

In order to ensure the smooth shutdown of printing and dyeing enterprises, in 2018, Xiangcheng District launched a network of iron-wound governance.

On the one hand, Yangcheng Lake Town guides enterprises to recognize the situation and actively cooperates with the policy of shutting down. On the one hand, the control is in place, and the printing and dyeing enterprises are forced to shut down. After helping enterprises to clearly manage the “three accounts” (political accounts, economic accounts and environmental accounts), many enterprises have automatically shut down. At present, 24 printing and dyeing enterprises have achieved overall shutdown and exceeded their annual tasks.

In the way of Qiangtang Town, the law enforcement inspections have been continuously strengthened by means of point-to-face and indirect methods, and the enterprises have been forced to eliminate them through demolition or voluntary shutdown. There are 33 printing and dyeing enterprises in the town, and 22 in 2017. In the year of 2018, the remaining 11 printing and dyeing enterprises were shut down by demolition. At present, all the demolition agreements have been signed and closed.

Beiqiao Street vigorously promoted the elimination plan and set up a working group in the early stage, focusing on strengthening on-site supervision and coordinating the elimination process. At the same time, the printing and dyeing enterprises are required to strictly follow the relevant regulations, properly handle the remaining pollutants in the production process and related pollution treatment facilities, and go all out to do all the elimination and rectification work.
